By creating an account, sending an inquiry, publishing a listing, or continuing to use Valtorres, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Creating an account asks you to accept these terms and to confirm that you have read the privacy policy.

Valtorres is not a broker or a real estate agent

Valtorres is a listing portal. ValTorres Capital Group, LLC is not a licensed real estate broker or a licensed real estate agent, and does not act as one. We do not represent buyers or sellers. We do not negotiate for you, we do not hold deposits or payments, and we are not a party to a sale or a lease.

Listings are published by their owners or their agents. Those people are responsible for the content. Always confirm the details of a property directly with the person who published it and with the professionals you choose.

The service

Valtorres lets you search for houses, apartments, lots, land, and rentals in El Salvador, save them, and write to the person who published them. If you are an owner or an agent, you can submit a listing for us to review. The website and the app use the same account.

Guides, the calculator, the directory, news, events, and radio are general information. Some listings are marked as examples and are not real offers.

No advice, and no warranty about listings

Nothing on Valtorres is legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice. Information may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A listing is not an offer from ValTorres Capital Group, LLC. Including a person or a lender in the directory is not a recommendation and is not approval by the Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero or by any other authority.

You decide whether to contact someone, whether to visit a property, and whether to sign a contract. Do that with the information the lister gives you and with the professionals you choose.

Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account. You must confirm your email to use some features, such as requesting a viewing. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that breaks these terms, or when we need to in order to protect the service. Do not create an account to impersonate another person or Valtorres.

Responsibility of the person who publishes

If you submit a listing, you state that:

You have the right to offer that property and to use the photos and text you submit.
The details are truthful and do not mislead anyone about the price, whether it is a sale or a rental, the size, the location, or the availability.
The map pin is the one you chose. If you mark the location as approximate, the public map does not show the exact point. The exact address is not included in viewing emails.
You will update or withdraw the listing when the property is no longer available or the details are no longer correct.

The Valtorres team reviews a listing before it is published. That review does not check title, measurements, or your authority to sell or rent. It does not make us a party to the transaction, or a broker or agent.

Prohibited content

You may not publish or send:

Illegal content, or content that promotes a crime.
Fraud, misleading listings, impersonation of a person or of Valtorres, or requests for passwords, bank details, or off-portal payments in order to deceive someone.
Photos, text, or other material you do not have the right to use.
Harassment, threats, hate, or content that exploits minors.
Bulk or unsolicited messages, or anything that interferes with the service.
Another person's personal data that is not needed for the inquiry or the listing.

We may refuse, hide, or remove content, hide messages, and suspend accounts. Listings are reviewed before they are published. Messages are not approved one by one before they are delivered; the team can hide them afterward.

Inquiries and messages

Use the inquiry and the inbox to ask about a listing and to continue that conversation. Do not write passwords or payment details. Sending limits reduce abuse. Your email is not shown to the other person when the conversation is opened in Valtorres, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Deals between users

A purchase, sale, or rental agreement is between you and the other person. Valtorres does not guarantee it, does not hold money, and is not responsible for what a lister or an inquirer does.

Intellectual property

The site design, the Valtorres name, and our text belong to ValTorres Capital Group, LLC or its licensors. You keep the rights to content you submit, and you grant us a license to host, display, and review it, and to make backup copies, only to operate the portal. Do not copy the site in bulk or try to bypass access limits.

Availability

The service is provided as it is available. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that a listing is accurate, or that a transaction will be completed.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, ValTorres Capital Group, LLC is not liable for decisions you make based on a listing, for other users' acts, or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited. This clause is part of a draft pending legal review.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and your personal data as described in How to delete your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date. Continuing to use Valtorres after that change means you accept the new terms for later use. For an important change, we will let you know on the site or by email.

Governing law

The publisher of the service is a Virginia company in the United States. These terms are read under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, except where the law of the place where you live does not allow that choice. They do not include an arbitration agreement. This choice of law is part of the draft pending legal review. Before a formal claim, write to us at the contact details below so we can respond.
